I have been a registered nurse and a member of the dispensing staff at HAART since 1994.  I divide my professional time between HAART Oakland, HAART Hayward and Children’s Hospital in Oakland.  I am proud to be part of a great group of competent, professional staff working at HAART.

I am a social work professional with 25+ years’ experience providing counseling and life management consultation to Alameda County residents with substance use disorder and mental health issues.  I have a BA in Psychology and I am CADC II Certified.

I am a native of Oakland California. I have served in the East Bay area as an individual/group counselor for 18 years. My experience is in providing multi-level care in substance use disorder/chemical dependency, Narcotic Replacement Therapy, relapse prevention, pregnancy, parenting, and women’s issues and adult education. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Holy Names University.

We would like to welcome Marie Archuleta to our staff.  She comes to HAART Oakland with a variety of experience working from a harm reduction framework. She is committed to offering compassionate care and counseling that values each individual client experience, and allows each person to enter as they are.

It is an honor to work at H.A.A.R.T and I look forward to helping people who are helping themselves. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist who believes that everyone can change. With collaboration among patients, nurses, doctors, administration and therapists, we can help people reach their goals.
